  • You want emotional support without therapy pressure

  • You’re tired of advice and want to be understood

Centered on the mother, not the baby

This is not therapy.

We do not diagnose, treat, or provide medical or crisis care. If you do need a higher level of support, we help you find it.

Who’s Behind the Support

  • Dr. Adriana Dyurich, PhD, LPC

Dr. Dyurich is a licensed counselor and mental health consultant who specializes in maternal well-being. She's published research on perinatal depression and brings her expertise in DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care to VeedaMom.

  • Dr. Veena Prasad, PhD, MBA, LPC

With a background in counseling, biochemistry, and women's mental health, Dr. Prasad offers a scientifically grounded, culturally responsive approach to supporting new moms through CBT, ACT, and more.

  • Amy Brown, MA

Amy is a mom and graduate student training to become a postpartum therapist, with guidance and support from licensed mental health professionals who specialize in maternal mental health.

She has two boys, ages 1 and 5, who are most often described as “feral” on the playground (affectionately, of course).

Frequently Asked Questions

  • You can send messages as things come up! Think of it like texting a thoughtful friend who many not respond immediately, but will respond with a well thought-out answer that hits all the points you made.

  • No. This is emotional support, reflection, and guidance. It does not include diagnosis or treatment.

  • Both! This support is for any stage of pregnancy or postpartum up until your child is around 2 years old.

  • You’ll fill out a bit about you, and then get matched with one of the three of us. If you indicated a preference, we will take that into account.

Your support person will contact you via your preferred method, and support will continue until you no longer need it.

  • That’s okay and we want to know.

We encourage open, honest feedback at any point. Support can evolve over time, and we’re happy to adjust our approach, explore whether another VeedaMom team member might be a better fit, or help you transition out of the service.

You’re never locked in, and you’re never expected to “make it work” if it doesn’t feel right.

  • No! We understand this is a season of life, and the support you need may only span a couple of weeks or extend for longer. We designed this to help moms, and if support isn't helping anymore, we want you to feel comfortable stopping at any time.

  • Of course! We are capping the amount of people we take so we can protect the quality of care, but if you need support again, we will do our absolute best to get you right back where you left off.

  • Yes. Your experience is respected and kept private.

We do not sell, share, or monetize personal messages or data.
Your conversations stay within the VeedaMom team.

With your consent, themes and insights from conversations may be used anonymously to help us learn what moms need most and to inform future VeedaMom tools and content. Individual stories are never shared publicly without explicit permission.

This support is built on trust. We take that seriously.

  • If it becomes clear you need therapy or a higher level of care, we’ll help you find the appropriate support.
